Review: Clinie’s N.M.F Aquaringer Ampoule Mask

Since giving birth, I feel like I’ve been letting go of myself- never put on makeup or sometimes skipping all the skin care that I’m starting to look really haggard like an auntie. -.-” One of my 2018 resolutions is to take care of my skin better so I’ll achieve flawless and fair skin like Fan Bingbing (Ahem 50% only la. I know, I can still dream) Did you know she does masks twice (whitening & hydration) a day and easily go through 600+ masks in a year?

My skin’s quite dull recently due to all the sun exposure/neglect so I decided to do a moisturising mask. Among my huge collection of masks, Clinie’s N.M.F Aquaringer ampoule mask is in danger of expiring. Or have expired since I threw away the box and couldn’t read the expiry stated on the bottom of the mask. Lol. I might have bought this 2 or 3 years ago in Hong Kong E-Market which is a shop specialising in Korean skincare.

Clinie is a Korean cosmedical brand created by aesthetic specialists using principles of treatments used on beauty clinics. Special skin prescription incorporated to provide custom solution so individuals feel like they’ve received professional skin treatment at home. Clinie uses a highly concentrated formulation of natural materials to help restore skin balance.

This mask contains Hyaluronic acid, Ceramide, and N.M.F to help moisturise the skin. It also contains Witch Hazel to control sebum and tighten pores. It is recommended to use this mask 2-3 times a week for 4 weeks as a one month concentrated skin management program.

On the website of Nekobuy, it’s stated the mask is made from bio-cellulose gel sheet. I’m not sure about the ‘gel’ but the mask is quite thin and fits my face perfectly. There’s just the right amount of serum in the pack so when I put this mask on for 15mins, the serum never drips down my neck which is a plus. The serum is in a clear gooey texture without any scent to it. Most of the serum is absorbed into the skin when I removed the mask but it’s a little sticky so I usually wash my face and continue with my skincare routine.

The first time I used this, the results is just ok. It made my skin soft but I couldn’t tell if my skin is more hydrated. However, I continued using this twice a day (morning and night) and could see that my face is definitely more moisturised. This mask really hydrates well if used diligently. This mask is rather inexpensive as well so I highly recommend this mask to try out.

Love,
Karen Chua
